Feb 2026. Our lab has been awarded a one-year pilot grant from the Washington University Diabetes Research Center. This funding will support our research to define the enzymatic origin and metabolic role of N-acetyltaurine. Way to go, team!

May 2026. Our lab has been awarded a two-year research grant from the Wisconsin Alzheimer's Disease Research Center (ADRC), and Wei has been selected as a Research Education Component (REC) Scholar. This support will help advance our research on the roles of secreted factors in Alzheimer’s disease. Way to do, team!
May 2026. Our lab’s first manuscript is published on JBC! Here, we identified a shared enzymatic mechanism linking N-acetylated β-amino acids to energy balance regulation. Congratulations to Ruida from the CMB Program on leading this work. Well done!
